SOUNDS OF SILENCE

Still complaining about the hardships you received in the life of booze? Silence the nagging voice inside your mind and toss it out and be sober and happy once again or drive yourself crazy and never be happy again. Is it your mission in life to become insane? Starting now the booze is gone and all the problems that go with it doesn’t exist but only the sober life remains. We all had hardships in the life of booze and I say no big deal who cares all that matters is that it’s over and done with and now enters into the mind the sounds of silence. I was told this in rehab forget the guilt and remorse and whatever else that causes your grief. I understand that we all have issues like this and it is a daily struggle as I do too but I find a solution to the issue then end it no more thinking about it. Done. I have spoken to a person who carried around with him guilt from what he said to his friend when he was drunk years before this is nonsense to live this way so move on from this. We all say things when we are drinking and it’s no big deal to hang onto it so if this is what is making your sobriety miserable end it now and live sober and peaceful in the sounds of silence the program that sobriety is based on. The hardships are gone so let it fade away and walk away with a happy life and keep it simple is what sobriety is all about don’t think about this just do it. I make jokes about my hardship and laugh it off relieves the stresses of life. If I didn’t have bad luck I’d have no luck at all. Better than nothing at all? It’s not whether we win or lose it’s how we play the game and accept both with a smile. We lost at booze and won at sobriety and laugh and make jokes about it. Do it.
