RESPECT LIFE

Strange how we remember the times we got drunk and can’t recall the last time we had pizza. Is it important to keep these in mind? Every drunk is a trophy and we hang them up on our ego like a mantle. To sit and admire? Conversation piece? Something to be proud of? Wave your flags and March to the sad tune. The Death March. Our crushed egos will rise back up from the dead and see a sign of life again. Ourselves. Fresh from the warm dying embers and keep the eternal flame burning. Recognize the value we have hidden inside of us and be aware of the importance and the personal rewards we experience at the start of each day to display it like a flag you are proud to raise and let people see it when they see walking around. You will have the constant feeling of respect for your life. Living sober is respecting your life placing a value on others and yourself. People who live depressed feel they have lost it all but some don’t look for value to replace what they lost. Stop before this happens and a sober life is a value in itself. Let it grow into a quality life and be something special inside of you and inside other people around you. Keep it growing and enjoy the daily harvest. I know that booze is a fungus that will kill it off. Fungus cannot kill off sobriety. Being sober is the only thing that will improve us with a good diet everyday and exercise. You can’t have all this and be a boozer too. Respect the good life only you can create. Adding disrespect and disgrace to your life is abuse of the worst kind. When you feel like a fool you know something is totally wrong and needs to be corrected.

Sobriety is the only way to put value and honor back into your life.
