Booze will predict it’s own destiny and ours as well when we follow and obey the outcome. Foretelling our future the message was never told to us as it never would have been a warning of danger ahead just good times and ruins of booze. Every binge is the risk of being our last and cannot predict if life or death awaits in the morning after. We could have if only we followed the urging to live sober and the outcome will have accurate predictions entering a life that will save us and booze will destroy us. We can predict our own future if it starts with being sober based on promises not entering a life in a dangerous land and building castles on shifting sand. When we enter into the unknown world of addictions use no one can predict what will be there waiting for us but only how it will end in two ways our death and an epitaph. Where was this message when we were told how great the life of booze was going to be? Why was it left out? No need to be a teller of fortunes to predict what will happen when you take your first dose and you will not stop at just one. How many will it be? Predict your own future by saying no and stop for a latte on your way home and be sober in the morning sun. What better plan can anyone make for us? In all predictions there is a risk of it happening or not but in sobriety it offers the promise of safe living. I have been sober for decades and I can predict what my future years will be like being sober. What promises will your addictions use provide to you? In the graveyard.
