We are curious how addictions use will begin then later on how it will end. If we were sure in the beginning believing the stories that were told to us were true, then stop there, the life of addictions might never have happened. What did we not believe about the stories that motivated us to try addictions? We may have turned away from the first dose if something would have happened to convince us that the disasters ahead were possible they will happen to us. If only we knew the risks before agreeing to a dangerous life or at least a warning from a caring soul that has lived and survived the disasters of addictions. Always the glamour stories of fun and parties but never the truth of what is waiting for us up ahead. Older people must have heard at least one disaster scenario and never told the story to the younger crowd and I ask myself why did they keep silent. What were they thinking at the time? Not about our safety. We trusted them and believed in their judgment we had no reason to doubt them. Stories have been told to the younger crowd about the dangers of addictions, ignored them, and suffered without end for a good many of them. Disaster scenarios before the first dose works for many but not for all. How can we fix this disaster scenario? I have written many ideas and I am certain some are following my advice living sober my way before the first dose or after living a brief addiction disaster. There is a chance that a solution does exist but we need to live it for it to work for us.
We have to be convinced, believe, and trust in the stories told of past addictions disasters to motivate us to turn away.
Future addictions disasters happen when we relive the past.
