Loyalty comes to an end. Moving on to pursue better experiences. Bragging every drunk like discovering a gold mine. Probably what it would take to recover. A mine of gold. Not much interest in study and conformity? Learning how to live sober requires ethics and other subjects of common sense. Toss them aside? Had no use for them? Would you think different if you became a parent? Why wait to become one? Why not live it for yourself being single? Hard to get motivated without a purpose? Might disturb your thinking? Feel it is all for nothing? Can’t praise and honor and be proud of your own pursuits? A drunk makes us feel like a king in a castle. Support your drunken royalty. Stagger up your diamond studded stairway. Wake up in some rat and bug infested room. Your house, a jail, tool shed. Discover your decayed life. Down on your luck with no trace of pity. All the glitter of the stairway diamonds has faded away. Castle crumbled to dust, The king’s crown has been lost in the wind. Sobriety is a life of proud moments. Satisfaction. As long as we stay sober we will always be proud of the hard work that created us.
