Put the amount of ground coffee in a maker that you usually do. Add exactly one half as much water. A 4-cup maker is 20 ounces of water. Add only 10 ounces. This is homemade cold brew coffee. Put 1/4 cup of this hot coffee in a small cup then add cool whip on top. This is cold brew latte.
For homemade cream put 5 ounces of hot tap water in a measuring cup then add 3 tablespoons coffee creamer powder. Add to chilled cold brew and you have cold brew with cream. Chill each for 12 hours before mixing.
Any ground coffee will do but I use the Folgers black silk variety.
The idea of homemade cold brew and cream is to save us a fortune. 8 ounces only costs about a dollar to make. Not the same as the coffee shop version but it’s close.
Anyone can afford this kind of party.
