A SOLEMN PROMISE

Many boring times the story has been told. “I’ll quit drinking when I’m dead.” Sounds like the typical drinker. Makes for a dull life. The story repeats itself for years like an echo. Worn out scenarios about a stuffy life. Similar to sitting in a broom closet. The seagulls, the beach, the waves flopping in all day long. Orchestra of the sea. Each wave singing their own tune. Time to walk out of the broom closet and see a better life. Sobriety has a certain hidden loyalty contained within. Have to be loyal to being sober to understand why. Now it’s time to write a new book. Telling the world how much better life is being sober. Filling the printed page with your intelligence. Explaining the easy steps on how to become you. It all begins with loyalty to sobriety and making a solemn promise to yourself.
