CLEAR PERCEPTION

If the rich would look into the eyes of the poor the rich will see a reflection of themselves. Perhaps their future. This will surprise us that it works this way and also frighten us that we consider this the next sunrise. Courtesy is the way to survive homeless life. Do your homework for the future.

What is the emotion we feel before we start drinking ?

What is the emotion we feel after we have been drinking ?

Resentments (the driving force) and self-pity (keeps resentments alive) .

One feeds off the other. We want people to feel sorry for us and accept us. This needs to stop because when we allow this our growing to full mature status is turned off.

HOPE FOR THE WICKED

Because of all my enemies,I am the contempt of my neighbors; I am a dread to my friends. Those who see me on the street flee from me. I am forgotten by them as though I were dead; I have become like broken pottery. Enemies doesn’t have to be people. Can be the lifestyle we live that is our enemy. Flee can mean avoiding people. Feeling regretful about the way we live we have a hard time facing ourselves. The more low we become the harder we look for ways to improve. All at our own choosing.

Psalm 31:11

WORTHLESS ROUTINES

Many times from many people we all imitate helpful routines. I noticed how other people enjoyed sobriety without any problem. I wanted the same routine. I left addictions to be in good health. Sick and tired is nothing to be loyal to. With a drinking problem we all need to stop. Sometimes stopping is a slight problem. When I was drinking no one ever told me about alcoholics anonymous. I didn’t know it existed. I am telling you now so look into it now. I feared the life of drinking. Afraid of relapse. People warned me of the dangers of addictions. I ignored them. I should have taken their advice. I learned the hard way. Feeling like a fool. We all look for something to pass the time. Study cooking. Worthless routines like addictions will get us nowhere.

FINDING OUR WAY HOME

We all go hiking in the woods on a beaten path. we travel on a path in another direction. We get caught up in the scenery and excitement then forget how to return to the main trail. This is how the alcohol and the addictions life starts. Curiosity is one example. Walking around trying to find our way home can take a short time or a long one. The main trail was our normal sober life the addictions life is the path off the beaten path.

Let’s share some scenarios on how we found our way back. I will start first.I started drinking from age 14-22. my last night of drinking I asked a police officer where there is a rehab. He told me and took me there. 28 days later I never drank again.

Our scenarios can help others out of the scary and dangerous woods.

QUOTE FOR LIFE

Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; And suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Francis of Assisi

Meditations can lead us to paths of Knowlege. Beyond the basics of what the surface first appears. It’s not how long the road is it is what the end of the road offers. Anything that contains morality as the center of meditations will turn us in the right direction to follow the road that will lead us to a good life with many sacred inspirations to help us find the value in ourselves. This is needed to get through the impossible times of the future. With daily struggle this can be very possible so always keep the faith and never stop trying. The person you want to be will be waiting for you at the end of the long road and give yourself a warm welcome home. The perfect reward for all the struggle you put into it. Use some common sense and it will never end and neither will your sobriety. Never stop. All this is a good feeling like drinking coffee in the morning sun and the feeling of being sober and learning a moral life. The sensation will never wear off. Not ever. No hardships came out of this life. Leave the booze behind you and don’t ever miss the life or debate relapse. This is where failure begins for all recovery people. When we give one hundred percent focus to a sober life this will be skill not luck.

In time we will meet the person we want to be. He’s on his way.
