Doubts will rise to stressful levels then the jitters come can’t decide to stay and face the issues or decide it’s best to leave. Is being there helping or not? We need to use this as a base to decide everything we must do and deciding to stay in the stress and using addictions makes no sense at all. If you are of no help at all you must leave the issue to someone else like in a family setting you did as much as you could so move on. On the fence means we can’t decide which side we want to be on what side of the issue to accept and to want to stay maybe there is some solution that will work. I had to decide like this and I thought it best to leave so I had to I couldn’t do anymore back there someone else can do more than me. If the home life is too stressful it’s time to leave forget the addictions find a road. Find the relaxed life you want it’s there down the road keep going it’s there no looking back. Family issues of any kind can be impossible to solve for some of us but I kept asking can this issue be solve without leaving and for me the issue can only be solve by finding a road and I did and it’s hard at first just accept it as the right thing to do. With this in mind your comfort will come from this not a pill or shots of booze and as long as you stay sober the comfort will always be within your soul as a friend a soul mate that will provide help as needed. You will be glad you found that road It’s time to relax and enjoy your sobriety the freedom you never found at home. You stepped off the fence and onto the right side of it.
