People praise the bible and praise the life of foolish pleasures on earth. Give up our drinking and other addictions to follow the teachings of Jesus. With our heart and soul not just with our mouths. resign all earthly pleasures to Jesus and devote His teachings to sobriety and helping others. Make a commitment and don’t straddle fences. Thinking about quitting and continue to drink is straddling fences. He who follows Me, walks not in darkness, says the Lord. By these words of Christ we are advised to imitate His life and habits, if we wish to be truly enlightened and free from all blindness of heart. Let our chief effort,therefore,be to study the life of Jesus Christ. Now,there are many who hear the Gospel often but care little for it because they have not the spirit of Christ. Alcoholic Anonymous is spirituality bases. Getting closer to the teachings of Christ will keep us focused on a sensibility based learning. To constantly improve us and a solid understanding of why the bible and sobriety is more essential than the drinking life.
